MEET KEENAN AYLWIN
WARD 2 COUNCILLOR
Keenan Aylwin is a community organizer, activist, and lives in the heart of Downtown Barrie. Keenan studies political science at Queen's University.
Keenan grew up in Barrie where he got his first taste of politics as a student, fighting alongside the community to save Prince of Wales Public School and Barrie Central Collegiate from closure.
Keenan sits on a number of local boards and committees including:

Simcoe County Alliance to End Homelessness (SCATEH) Barrie Chapter

Community Energy & Greenhouse Gas Reduction (GHG) Stakeholder Advisory Group
He also serves as Secretary of the Barrie Municipal Non-Profit Housing Board, and as Chair of the City’s Active Transportation and Sustainability Advisory Committee.
